Many problems can be avoided by taking some simple preventative steps. So save yourself money and headaches this year by doing the following:

-Check vents and ducting for blockage & collapse
-Replace glow plug & fuel pump screens once a year
-Check screen vent hole for blockage
-Check glow pin boot for cracks or dry rot
-Do not short cycle-run unit 15-20 minutes on start-up
-Run unit every month 15-20 minutes; even during non-heating season.
